Amie LeGette was born in 1985 and grew up in Northern California. She received her BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2010. She has exhibited at Michael Strogoff Gallery in Marfa, TX, Carl & Sloan in Portland, OR and various other venues in Portland and on the East Coast. She lived at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Oregon in 2014 and in 2016 was a finalist with the wilderness arts program Signal Fire. She currently lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
